The Upper Midwest Honors Council (UMHC) is a professional organization of faculty, administrators, and students dedicated to the promotion and advancement of undergraduate honors education. 

The Upper Midwest Honors Council region encompasses North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan.
